Darkfall is a "sandbox" video game (PC) where you create your own journey in a land called Agon. You start out with a simple blade and it is completely up to you on how you want to build your character. You can harvest all day long and use those materials (iron, wood, skin, cotton) to make yourself equipments, gear, weapon. You can become a rich merchant if you join the trading/crafting meta game. Finally, if you are looking for action, you can develop your character with combat ability. You can even lead a large group and conquer various cities and hamlet (but expect retaliation).
The challenge is that the world is perceived to be very cruel. Once you leave "safe area", you are a fair game. Other players can engage you in combat and if you die they can take away your current possessions (stuff you leave in the bank are safe). You can take the journey as solo, create your own group, or join a clan.
Because this game has no rules, many people perceived it to be harsh. In reality it is a test of your patience and mental strength.
Darkfall will offer you a challenge of a life time. It doesn't matter who you are. You can be a college student, single mother or someone who recently retired!
The challenge for you is to play this game for 30 days and see what you can achieve. This is a very addicting and can be a major time sink!
